Singapore with two largest universities with more than 30,000 students each has six national universities. National University of Singapore (NUS) is one of the highest-ranking universities in Asia and also the most prestigious university ranked 12th in the QS World University Rankings for 2017.

The National University of Singapore is also ranked with the global top 10 for many subjects like computer science, mechanical engineering, law, geography, statistics, materials science, accounting and finance, pharmacy, communication, media studies and modern language.

Nanyang Technological University and Singapore Management University are the other highly ranked Universities of Singapore.

It also has many private institutions and foreign university campuses in Singapore that collaborate to deliver overall quality of education.

For international students, the Indian Standard Class 12 acts as the qualifier for entry into undergraduate courses for CBSE, ICSE or State boards. Admissions are based on academic merit and selection from eligible applicants. In addition to fulfilling admission requirements for the international student category, Indian students are also required to fulfil the subject prerequisites for the course which they are applying for. For example, if you are looking for admission in Business Administration, then you need to have passed Mathematics in your 12th standard or at some other higher level. Or if you are considering civil engineering, then you need to have passed Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry at least at the school level.
